Introducing Luna, a menstruation app finding the feminist in ‘femtech’.

Get accessible and personalized data on your fluctuating body and energy.

Our approach

Luna is a period-tracking app that aims to celebrate fluctuating bodies and uncover the rationalized systems that want to standardize them. Our research observes deeply gendered and biased health apps through an intersectional feminist framework.

Redefining ‘procreative’

Like other period tracking apps Luna predicts your upcoming cycles. However, rather than assembling the data to predict fertility cycles, the output indicates the user's energy cycle based on the level of follicle-stimulating hormones.

With this knowledge, users can plan the month, week, and day that best serves them, i.e., taking on a hobby that brings them joy, starting a business, and organizing time-consuming and personal tasks for the week when their estrogen is peaking.

Your period may leak, but your data shouldn’t.

Luna provides users with powerful personal data and that’s how it stays, personal. We are dedicated to data privacy and an ethical approach to sensitive data. No one should be a victim of nonconsensual biodata sharing with third-party marketing and analytic companies. Unlike current apps on the market when we say private and personal, we mean it.
